I met you unexpectedly amidst the crowd

Even the music keeps going so loud

You're the only one I see standing out

Despite the crowd that's running about

Because my wish seems so unreasonable

Still, here I am sitting on my bed

My eyes are closed, lying still like the dead

But beyond those eyes that are closed

It's you I always dreamed of the most

It's a funny thing but it's so real

I couldn't tell you when I began to feel

Feel this emotion that is so foreign

But it's so warm, it feels like heaven

As I watched my world slowly turning blurred

I only wish for one thing in the world

I don't want to spend another sleepless night

CHAPTER ONE

Crisis In The Midst Of The Summer Sun

Beika District…

It was the day after the big storm that hit more than a third of Japan. So far, the storm left only minimum damage to the infrastructures and agriculture. And it stopped just before dawn. Miraculously, the sun shone brightly after that, revealing the beautiful scenery of the morning despite the visible effects of the storm.

And of course, obviously, the kids were happy because the storm was now over. As soon as the sun came out, the kids played outside.

Time is running so fast that we can't notice

There are many things in life that we missed

But your love is already enough for me to know

That this life of ours is one spectacular show

As long as you stay with me and will never leave

My heart has the power that I can believe

That love can make anything in life possible

Why does love couldn't sometimes defy death

Even if losing the one you love is the threat?

I couldn't define what is love before

Since I was little, I didn't ask anymore

But time had passed so now I know

That love isn't easy but it burns slow

I'm oblivious when it comes to knowing love

But once in my life, I've felt it came from above

Like it was a gift I have never received

And I was beginning to finally believe

It felt so heavenly I thought I was flying

And my heart never felt hurt like dying

But a secret love is one of the pains I've felt

Because my heart couldn't show it, so it slowly melt

Love always stays in our hearts as such

But loving you secretly seemed to hurt much

It's the least I can do for me to feel

I've never loved anyone, not once for real

Love has existed in the world since ages long past

It seemed that this is one thing that could last

Love is like an eternal blaze of comforting flame

Because it's always there even without a name

I was once a lonely girl no one wants to be with

Couldn't even reach out the way you did

Until you showed up and you became my friend

And my loneliness had finally come to an end

Your smile amazed me, it lights up my day

With your laughter and jokes, you showed me the way

And all of a sudden, I just felt it in my heart

I don't have any idea how everything starts

It's been more than five years since then

Since I found out I have fallen in love again

But I never let you know those feelings of mine

So now I'm standing here as my star loses its shine

If only I had the courage to tell you the truth

Maybe Cupid had an arrow for him to shoot

Making you hate me is not what I intend

So at least I'm satisfied if we're only friends

But please listen to my heart even just once

At least you'll know you're the one I loved by chance

And the only wish I have more than anything

Is for us to be together as life keeps turning

Love has a lot of sweet moments and laughter

But what happens if there isn't a happy ever after?

Will you curse love for it seemed to have lied?

Or will you only cry trying to accept that it "died"?

After so much depression I've felt in my heart

It was so numb because of being torn apart

Even if I shout here calling your name

I guess you wouldn't bother even if you came

After so much sorrow, I felt my life is over

At least that's the emotion I couldn't cover

I thought I'll never feel such pain because of love

But I guess I'm wrong so this is what I have

After so much tears that my eyes had cried

I still couldn't forget you, though I've tried

It took me a while to tear your pictures apart

It's at least one way to have a brand new start

After so much pain that had lived in my heart

My faith gives me a new reason for me to start

I know I'll find another love that wouldn't be painful

I'll be able to experience a love that's more than a handful

The morning felt so bright and unusually new

But my heart is still living in a world so blue

Because the one that I love till now isn't here

He's not even calling for me to feel he's near

I wanted to cry because I'm losing hope

But my life has reasons for me to cope

Will our love from back then remain?

Can my heart that breaks, I will regain?

I listened to the song of our destiny

As it keeps is singing the word "eternity"

If only you never feared my love for you

I guess I won't be crying for a year or two

You went away because of your fear

And now I'm still waiting for over a year

Still hoping you can conquer that fear now

And then you'll come back to me somehow

I'll be here standing and waiting for you

For this is the least I could do

I'll stay on the same ground where you left me

The Targeted Tennis Player Of Seigaku 0 - Escaping The Hands Of Death

Author's note: This story of mine will be my first crossover fan fiction since I do admire these two anime and I can say that I am a fan of these two. I decided to write a prologue for this story so that I can explain the enemies that the heroes and heroines will be dealing with in the later part of the story. I'll also include a few characters in here that might be the main part of the story.

Summary:

Shinomiya Kourin was a newly-transferred fourth grader at Teitan Elementary School. Along with her cousin Edogawa Conan and the Detective Boys in which she was a new member, they found Ryoma's body on the river while holding a large tree trunk. The gang later found out that Ryoma happened to be the target of an agency called The Dark Rose, an underling of the Black Organization that has a connection to Echizen Ryoma's father Nanjiroh and Shinomiya Kourin's past.

Ryoma, on the other hand, managed to escape from his perpetrators and it seems that his life now lies on the hands of the Detective Boys. He found comfort and security in them, especially in Kourin's who seemed to have an idea of the predicament he was dealing with. But finding himself starting to become attached to the nine-year-old girl only led him to know a lot about her and his situation. Little by little, the answers they were trying to seek had come to light, but at the expense of the tragic truth that connected them to each other. With only a little time left, will they be able to find and locate the culprit? Or will it go the other way around?
