After that, lunch time was over and all four of them headed to their respective workplace. However, Sari started noticing that the students she'd passed by would give her strange looks. They were as if mocking her, for some reason.

'What's going on right now? Why are they looking at me?' She didn't recall doing something wrong for her to get stared at as if she had committed a crime or something.

She was confused. She couldn't explain what they were thinking in their minds though, so she decided to drop the issue and focus on the task at hand instead.

When she arrived at her workplace, Professor Geunhee was already waiting for her inside the classroom with a serious look on her face.

At the end of the day, Sari and Soohoon managed to enjoy each other's company despite the serious conversation that went on. Even so, she felt as if she was able to get closer to him and realized that they were connected somehow. No matter how tragic the connection turned out to be.

"I hope we don't get to meet by chance again next time," Soohoon said, making Sari face him with a confused expression. But he only smiled and continued walking.

"It's not like we asked to be busy with our daily lives and our jobs, you know. But yes, I do hope it won't be by chance next time..."

Her voice trailed off. She didn't want to sound too gloomy or too enthusiastic about her plans. The professor must have sensed something else in her thoughts since his face lit up.

She was done setting up the saddles and armors on both the centaur and the griffin beside her when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turned rashly, only to be surprised to see Edmund standing behind her.

"Thank you." Sari smiled as she took her order from the counter of the coffee shop and walked out.

Another week had passed and so far, things remained uneventful for her. Then again, it was something she felt worried about, if she was to be honest. She and her friends continued coming up with plans to get close to Professor Soohoon. But with him teaching at a different university and with no clue about his schedules, they thought it would be hard to do something about it.

Even chance meetings weren't that easy to determine. Perhaps the only thing she could do at the moment was to pray that something ㅡ anything ㅡ would happen for that chance meeting to occur.

"Miss Yoon!" a voice called from behind, causing her to turn around in surprise.

For a long time, all I could see around was darkness. Then again, mukhang may ideya na ako kung bakit ganoon lang ang nakikita ko. Wala akong malay sa kung ano ang nangyayari in the outside world. Kaya kahit patuloy akong maglakad sa kung saan man ako naroroon ng mga sandaling iyon, mananatili akong tulog hanggang wala akong ginagawang paraan para makaalis dito.

At some point, alam kong mahirap. Pero kailangan ko na talagang magising dahil alam kong nag-aalala na ang mga magulang ko. Pati si Mayu. Ang mga kaibigan ko rin. At lalong-lalo na si Brent.

That guy had dreamt of me being covered in blood for quite some time. At kahit ilang beses ko nang sinabi rito na wala itong dapat na ipag-alala, hindi pa rin sapat iyon para maalis ang pag-aalala nito sa akin. At ngayon nga ay nangyari ang kinatatakutan nito.

That was why I had to wake up. Kailangan kong pawiin ang takot nito, ng mga taong mahahalaga sa akin. Kailangan kong bumalik sa mga ito ngayon din. I couldn’t stay here any second longer, just wandering around. There was still something I had to do, whether they liked it or not. Kailangan ko lang talagang pilitin ang sarili ko.

As soon as Seoha, Sejin, and Riyoung arrived at Sari’s apartment, they ate the food that Sejin’s mom made just for that visit. As Riyoung said, it was better for them to do this first to have the energy in the duration of the discussion that they would have regarding the plans that they were about to make.

It was a good thing that Riyoung didn't bring up anything related to what they had discussed over the phone earlier to Seoha and Sejin. But she had the feeling that the three of them were just testing the waters at the moment.

"Sari, did something happen to you before we arrived here?"

That question from Sejin made her raise her head and look at her friends. She shook her head as a response, though.

As much as Risa wanted to focus on her training with Alathil, her mind would continue going back to the conversation that they had the other night. She didn't know what to make of it, or if she was going to believe it. But she had never seen a trace of lies in the Second Prince's eyes when he told her about the possibility of her being the Seventh Moon from the legend.

Of course, she thought at first that it was crazy. Only... the rest of the conversation they had that night had just heightened the suspicion that she was indeed that person from the legend.

A legend that only the royal family and the higher court mages (the Master Mage and Lady Enlari) knew.

Mahigit isang araw na ang nakalipas mula nang ideklara ni Mama na maayos na ang resulta ng operasyon ni Relaina at wala nang panganib sa buhay nito. Ganoon katagal na rin kaming naghihintay na magising si Relaina at makumusta ito.

Kami ni Mayu ang nagboluntaryong magbantay kay Relaina nang tumawag ang mga magulang nito at nalaman ang tungkol sa nangyaring insidente. Na-stranded kasi ang mga ito sa pier kaya hindi pa makauwi kaagad dahil na rin sa banta ng bagyo. Sinabi naman ni Mayu sa mga ito na wala silang dapat na ipag-alala dahil marami kaming nakabantay kay Relaina.

But all those times na hinihintay naming magising si Relaina, hindi mawala-wala ang kaba sa puso ko. Yes, I knew she was safe. She was out of danger. Pero mukhang hindi ko yata magagawang kumalma hanggang hindi nagigising si Relaina.

At ngayong ako ang nagboluntaryong magbantay kay Relaina at hinayaan ko munang umuwi si Mayu, hindi pa rin ako mapakali. Nakatingin lang ako sa walang malay na si Relaina at pinapanood ang paghinga nito. Ang pagtaas-baba ng dibdib nito habang natutulog ito. They were indications that Relaina was still alive, that she was still with us.
