journal entry #2057

The 127th Philippine Independence Day today. Not really sure what happened in town today for people to celebrate that since I didn't go out to head to town. Not to mention, it was mainly drizzling the whole day (or almost the whole day). So who knows. But for me, this date — or rather the day after June 12 — is the one that has the most significance for me in terms of my journaling journey.

Actually, I was already done watching both the 9th episode of Shirohiyo first and then the 11th episode of The Too-Perfect Saint just today. The former was just a little light, even with that sabotage done to Maria before the concert. But the cuteness of Ageha and even that of Regulus, and also add the reactions of the two elves in certain situations, were really making me smile. Even when I knew what would happen since I read the web novel version, I still find it both refreshing and amazing to see the anime version.

As for the latter, things really took a dark turn on this since the Archdemon Asmodeus really did possess Prince Julius. Not surprised, to be honest, considering all that he did. The way the truth about the real connection between Hildegarde and Philia was revealed was a bit uncalled for. But even so, I don't think it affected Philia's way of doing things. I guess obssession really goes a long way, huh? And in this case, also a long time. I mean, 400 years just for the saind that sealed him to love him? Insane, I tell you. Then again, Archsaint Fianna was long dead. And even if Philia was Fianna's reincarnation of something, they won't ever be the same. I like the fact that Mia was the one who gave way for Osvalt to sae Philia and bring her back. She finally realized that it was this guy who changed her sister for the better. Now the real final battle is underway with Prince Osvalt by her side in that realm.

Mama and TP went out again to head to the hospital to hear what the doctor has to say about the lab results done to TP. After that, Mama said that TP would be admitted tomorrow to prepare for the surgery. At least, that's what I gathered by far. Here's to hoping that the surgery goes well.

Because of that, Mama did the laundry today — even when it was drizzling. No one's going to do it by Saturday if she would be accompanying TP in the hospital. Anyway, at least it was done before the big day.

I've been dealing with bouts of headache almost the whole day and I don't know why. I tried to bear it since I don't want to rely too much on pain relievers unless it becomes truly unbearable. After dinner, I ended up taking Advil since it still won't go away.
