Kailu Character Introduction

KAILU (Watanabe Tsurugi)

He was Ralnor's mentor-like childhood friend with an uncanny ability to use the earth as the extension of his senses, which he was able to use for his advantage as a skilled Gold Dust Caster. Though having a completely different personality, there was no denying that they cared for each other since they have the same belief with regards to their true duties as parts of the Power Casters' factions.

Story Scenario: Kailu and Aila

Kailu: I don't want to make a decision that will make me think of myself in the future as a complete failure...

Aila: But you've already come this far with all of the decisions you've made. And I want you to remember — not once have I thought of you as a failure at all...

There wasn't much proof about the real relationship between Aila (Tateishi Haruka) and Kailu (Watanabe Tsurugi) even though they hailed from completely different factions. But some could tell that they were close and had supported each other. But at this point, something was about to test that closeness enough to make Kailu question his knowledge and confidence while also enough to test Aila's remaining faith for him...

Story Scenario: Aznos and Kailu

Kailu: I'm already at the point in my life where I want to say, "This is it, the end of all my sufferings." But you're the one who said that I shouldn't think like that at all...

Aznos: That's because we still have a mission to finish as warriors that we are. And I'll do everything to finish that, so that no more people will suffer the same way some of our friends did when they lost the people important to them...

Belonging to the same Gold Dust Casters faction, Kailu (Watanabe Tsurugi) and Aznos (Suzuki Shogo) seemed to have developed a bond over time in spite of their differences when it comes to their beliefs with regards to their duties and what does it really takes to be called as true Power Casters in a nearly war-torn Cloud Dimension.

Story Scenario: Lyra and Kailu

Kailu: From what you were telling me, I don't think it's your own death that scares you. You're scared of leaving the one you love to deal with losing you all on his own when the time comes.

I think some drama could happen in this scenario between Lyra (Okubo Sakurako) and Kailu (Watanabe Tsurugi). At least when it comes to this discussion.
