Relationship Described: Heiji and Maya

Heiji had always guided Maiya in her ice skating journey ever since joining the Ice Skating Club, both in the university and the one managed by his father. With that, their relationship could be similar to that of a mentor and a student. Even when Maiya became famous in ice skating, Heiji would always be there to support her in her endevour. And after a long time, a true story from the past could bring their hearts even closer together.

Relationship Described: Tashiro and Chihomi

Tashiro and Chihomi were childhood friends before becoming strangers ever since Chihomi lost her memories. But even so, Tashiro remained loyal to Chihomi and kept waiting for the day her memories would finally return. He loved her in secret and supported her despite the hurt he couldn't help feeling. However, a time finally came when Tashiro realized that it was hopeless for Chihomi to remember him and that it was just right to let her go completely. And yet their fates had other plans for the two of them.

Relationship Described: Yushiro and Azami

Yujiro and Azami had always been buddies and rivals at the same time in surfing. Not only that, he was the only guy persistent enough to court her even though she firmly stated that she wanted their relationship to remain as it was. Yujiro's recklessness just to protect her had slowly softened her heart and changed her mind about him. But as it was happening, one event revealed something shocking that could prove Yujiro's persistence to court Azami was something she would call as "a continuation of a old destiny".

Relationship Described: Masami and Chifuyu

Masami and Chifuyu's relationship was nothing more than a customer and a seller at the flower shop owned by her family. Almost all the time, she would be the one assisting him whenever he would buy flowers for his late relatives. But what Chifuyu didn't know was the fact that Masami had secretly liked her for a long time. His involvement with Chifuyu's business as a Rainbow Knight opened up the truth concerning the two of them that they never knew had existed for a long time.

Relationship Described: Ryuichi and Miiko

Both Ryuichi and Miiko felt like they were destined rivals since their elementary days. But unlike that of Rei and Konami, their rivalry was leaning more on their scholastic achievements. There were times that they still rely on each other on some issues that they believed that "two minds are better than just one". There were instances, as well, that Ryuichi was more than willing to risk his life for Miiko's safety. In one of Miiko's battle as a Rainbow Knight, one revelation about their past would force her to choose between duty and her growing love for Ryuichi who would always be there to protect her at the cost of his life.

Relationship Described: Akio and Mari

Akio and Mari were never really close to begin with. In fact, Mari could be seen watching Akio from afar most of the time. She wasn't sure if she was just admiring him for more reasons than one or there was something about him that made her watch him like this. The moment they became close, however, one story could test their newfound friendship and hidden feelings.

Relationship Described: Rei and Konami

Rei and Konami felt like they were born enemies ever since their paths crossed in the university. More often than not, their clashes would lead to Konami punching Rei in the face, especially when she wasn't in the mood to deal with his teasings. And yet, their relationship took a big turn when a certain truth was revealed enough to test them both, which included their true feelings for each other.

Putting all the main characters and obvious designated pairings of my magical girl-inspired story "Rainbow Knights". This is before I could post their character profiles here. Still debating if I should write the story in English or Filipino. I always have that kind of trouble whenever I would try writing something new.

Of course, if I have to be honest, the story of the Rainbow Knights would never be complete without their respective love interests. What can I say? I'm an aspiring romance writer (for real) and trying to become a fantasy writer, as well. So here they are ー the guys who will become one of the greatest parts of the warriors' lives.

This isn't the original names and visual inspirations that I had for Rainbow Knights — inspired by various 魔法少女 (mahou shoujo) genre of animes I've watched. But then again, things can change as time goes by. Anyway, the plot remains the same. So now I'll be posting these here to remind me that I need to continue writing this story. By the way, I wrote the Japanese names here in Western style—given name first, then surname.

Here's the short story description of Rainbow Knights basing it from a part of the original synopsis that I could recall.

STORY DESCRIPTION: Seven girls ー Konami, Mari, Miiko, Chifuyu, Azami, Chihomi and Maiya ー had their lives changed all of a sudden when each of them became chosen to wield seven powers ー fire, light, wind, earth, water, sound, and ice. Guided by the Chief Fairy Angel named Rainne, they were soon given the immense task to battle the threat coming from the Olgox who made it their mission to conquer both the Earth and the world of Ralvalea. The girls were able to do such a feat by becoming the legendary seven-colored Angel Knights of the ancient Ralvalea, the Rainbow Knights!

The earliest full-length fantasy story I've ever written, but never got to finish until now. Even so, I still don't want to let this go. For me to remember that, I'm posting these character pics compiled for now. 😄😄
