MIYAKO let out a sigh as soon as she entered the dressing room meant for her.
For her, she does looked tired. But she would actually blame it from everything that had transpired since the attack. Of all things she hated the most, it was making the princess worry because of their mission. That young lady was scary when it comes to observing people.
'She is Lord Hitoshi's sister, after all. And the next leader of the Shrouded Flowers, at that…'
"It looks like you're having a hard time with your mission, huh?"
"You have no idea, Nanami." Nilingon ito ni Miyako. "Himala at naisipan mo na yata akong puntahan dito. Normally, you would stay at the dojo and polish your swordmanship skills even further."
She was even surprised to learn the possibility that a Miyuzaki could possibly be behind the escape of the surviving Yasunaga clan members to the Philippines. But then again, a lot of things happened that weren't even recorded in their families' history. Those unrecorded events held the truth to the missing puzzles that they needed to solve.
"You're still bound to the promise you made to your father that night. Am I right? It was a statement on Miyako's part, though.
"That promise is just a small part of it. I think she had been aware of the fact about the Miyuzaki's involvement in everything related to the Yasunaga clan. "What happened to your mission?"
Miyako let out a frustrated groan that confused Nanami.
"What was that supposed to mean?" natatawang tanong ni Nanami.
"I was able to find proof that Seiichi's parents' deaths were definitely not an accident. And I was able to know who among the Dark Rose killed them--brutally, I might add."
Kumunot ang noo ni Nanami. "Brutally? So you're saying they were already dead before they got into the car?"
Tumango si Miyako. "It's just the same thing they did to the Wilford siblings' parents. Kill them first personally before putting their bodies into the car and let it drift down the cliff, finally meeting their ultimate demise."
"Crius and Rhea. And here's the catch. The two couples were murdered on the same night," sagot ni Miyako na talaga namang ikinagulat ni Nanami.
"What?
But Miyako didn't say anything for a few moments that left Nanami puzzled. Yet the younger Knight remained quiet. "You said that your sister and Ryuuji found a locked vault among the ruins of the Shiasena Temple, right? That vault could possibly hold the answer to that question."
"I came across an information that both Seiichi and Raiden's fathers had been acquianted to each other for quite some time. Nanami, it's also said that those two held leather-bound journals whenever they meet each other in only one place ― the Shiasena Temple. At kaya laging walang nagbabantay sa lugar na iyon these past few weeks ay dahil ibinilin sa kanila ng dalawang taong iyon na hayaan lang tayong magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa lugar when the situation worsen. The residents of the Kusanagi Shrine were all loyal followers of those two people. And those followers have always been aware of the princess' identity and even that of the Knights ever since the attack happened. They were given the ultimate order to assist us in every way possible without revealing themselves to us," paliwanag ni Miyako.
"Seriously, this is too much to absorb.
"One of the temple's residents explained that the vault held what could possibly be the largest information as to what had actually transpired between Seiichi and Raiden's fathers before the Dark Rose killed them." Miyako eyed Nanami gravely once more. "It's possible that the vault's contents could tell us the reason why Seiichi and the Wilford siblings also fell victim to the Dark Rose's evil ploys."
