Mirui's Hyacinth: Smile At Me - Chapter 4

"THIS... can't be happening," usal ni Mirui sa kabila ng shock—hindi lang gulat—na naramdaman niya nang tumambad sa kanya ang isang pamilyar na bulto kahit na nakatalikod ito pagbukas niya ng pinto papunta sa rooftop. Kung alam lang niya na ito pala ang sasalubong sa kanya, kanina pa siguro siya umalis at kinalimutan ang lahat.

But Lexus asked her a favor—which was something he rarely does. Yes, he gave orders in which most of them turned out to be petty ones dahil gusto lang nitong maglambing sa kanya. At dahil sa taglay niyang tagong kabaitan, hayun at pinagbibigyan na lang niya ito. Chika lang niya ang sinasabi niyang inis na nararamdaman kapag nag-uutos si Lexus sa kanya. Ganoon lang talaga silang dalawa from the start.

Kaya naman nang sabihin nito sa kanya na pabor ang hinihingi nito, aminado talagang natigilan siya nang maramdaman niyang seryoso si Lexus doon. All the more reason kung bakit hindi niya ito tinanggihan kahit nagtataka siya kung bakit gusto siyang ipakausap sa isang estranghero. And as it turned out, hindi pala estranghero ang nag-aabang sa kanya sa rooftop na iyon.

It was no wonder kung bakit mukhang madaling napapayag si Lexus. But why would this guy talk to her, anyway?

This is me again for another Sunday Currently blog post! Well, at least I'm trying to keep up from all of those Sundays that I never got to post something like this. There were a lot of that last year, you know.

Yes, I know, it's been a while since I've done this. I'm not sure if what I putting here was worth talking about. But they are my thoughts at the moment. Right now, I just want to put them here, no matter how short they might be.

I couldn't put a Twitter thread of the Sunday Currently entry's Saturday version so let's do it this way. Anyway, at least for this Saturday.

"SERIOUSLY speaking, ano ba'ng meron sa akin at wala yatang sandali na iniiwasan mo ako, ha?" lakas-loob na bungad ni Mirui nang marating na nila ni Theron ang rooftop dahil sa pagsunod na ginawa niya rito.

Pambihira! Ganoon talaga kabilis maglakad ang ugok na ito? Hayun nga at humahangos lang naman siya nang marating niya ang rooftop. At naturingan pa siyang nag-e-exercise sa lagay na iyan dahil na rin sa training niya sa ice skating.

"Bakit mo ako sinundan dito?" walang emosyong tanong ni Theron sa kanya na lalo lang nagpalala sa inis na nararamdaman niya.

Hanggang kailan ba niya mararanasan ang ganitong treatment mula sa lalaking ito?

Staring out of the window wouldn't help, but it had been Sela's habit for quite some time now. It was raining at the moment and the droplets seemed louder than ever as each of it fell to the roof and to the dry ground. Yes, she knew that doing this would never help her at all.

But it was just her way of reminiscing things. Of recalling moments that should've made her life a little meaningful than before.

And yet...

The Sunday Currently #20

So while everyone (or not) are hyped up about the coronation night for #BbPilipinas2018, I decided to do this instead while still contemplating on how to finish the scheduled one-shot for today. So let's start, shall we?

So currently, I'm:

"HAPON na hapon, highblood ka na naman," puna ni Lexus kay Mirui pagkauwi niya sa bahay nila na matatagpuan sa isang subdivision dalawang kanto lang ang layo mula sa Alexandrite University. Not many people knew but she and that big guy named Lexus-na sinermunan lang naman siya dahil sa late na pagdating niya sa closed court-ay sa iisang bahay lang nakatira. Well, there was a reason for that.

"Sino ba naman ang hindi maha-high blood sa buwisit na Snowflakes na iyon? Walang katulad sa pagkamanhid ang buwisit na 'yon. Grabe talaga! Nakakainis!" And the usual, nagwala na talaga siya sa harap nito. Anyway, wala naman siyang kiber kapag kaharap niya si Lexus Willard del Fierro. Okay lang naman kasi rito na kesehodang magwala siya sa harap nito.

Well, at least she hoped na okay lang dito. Kunsabagay, sanay naman na yata ito sa mga rantings niya. Pakibagayan ba naman kasi nito iyon for a long time. Pero hindi alam ng madlang pipol ng Alexandrite University kung gaano katagal ang 'long time' na iyon. All they knew was that she and Lexus just met at the university.

"Si Monterossa na naman ang ipinagwawala mo?Pambihira ka, Rui. Magtatatlong taon nang ganyan ang reklamo mo tungkol sa kanya. Hindi ka pa rin ba sanay sa pagiging manhid ng lalaking iyon, as you say it?" Napailing na lang si Lexus na nagpakunot naman ng noo niya.

A sigh escaped Mako's lips as she looked at the gloomy sky ― telling her of the impending heavy rainfall. But it wasn't because she was frustrated or anything about the weather. This sight only allowed some memories to resurface in her mind ― something that she had been avoiding to happen for a few years already.

She should have moved on already. Or at least, she felt that she did. But each time it would rain or her friends would drag her to the sea or even to the river, those memories would show no signs of stopping as they would surge in her mind.

Ian/Yayoi (Kyoryuger): For Both Of Us

Despite the pain that seared as she tried to move around after waking up, Yayoi still did her best to walk as she was supposed to head to the lab. She had to do something - anything - that would help the Kyoryugers with this new battle they had to face.

Especially now that a new monster was attacking various Super Sentai members for some reasons. In fact, she wasn't an exception as she had to deal with it alone.

It was a good thing that her grandfather was on an expedition at the time so she won't have to worry about him getting caught up in the danger.

"O, SAAN ka ba pupunta at wagas lang kung magmadali ka? Wala namang multong humahabol sa iyo, ah."

Napatigil tuloy si Mirui sa pagtakbo paalis sa classroom at hinarap si Kyle na siyang nagsabi niyon. "Wala ngang multong humahabol sa akin. Pero meron namang Lexus Willard del Fierro na daig pa ang multo't halimaw kung maghasik ng katatakutan kapag hindi ako nakarating sa closed court at na-late pa ako ng dating doon."

"Si del Fierro na naman ang rason? Pambihira. Iba na nga talaga ang in love, 'no? Ang tiyaga mo kahit alam mong hinding-hindi ka niya mapapansin."
