NOTE: This is the official list of characters from my second Super Sentai story "Kumoshugo Sentai Jyureiger". I'll be adding other characters — if I managed to think about adding even more — once I had it done. The characters written here are fictional, just a product of my imagination, and had no connection whatsoever to those people with the same name. As for the Korean characters included here, they actually first appeared in the fantasy series I wrote titled "Operation: Cloudbreak". So this is like the spin-off of that series.
WARNING: Contains spoilers regarding how the full story will run.
JYUREIGERS
*Jyureiger (Jyureijā) is a portmanteau of Japanese words for "Beast" (Jyu/Zyu), "Spirit" (Rei), and "Ranger" (Renjā)—can be translated (hopefully it's the right one) as "Beast Spirit Rangers".
The Jyureiger, known as the "Power Casters of Japan" or "Beast Spirit Knights (Jyurei Kishi)" in a most common term, are descendants of the Power Casters that came from the Cloud Dimension more than 10,000 years ago. There were two countries where Power Casters over the past millenia had dominated in secrecy, and that would be South Korea and Japan. Though both the Power Casters of South Korea and Japan have the ability to control elemental powers, the Jyureigers are more known to have the ability to summon and control Beast Spirits coming from the Island of Summons when definitely needed, hence the reference of their collective title Beast Spirit Knights. This island is one of the three mystical and illusory islands forming a triangle between Japan and South Korea (the other two are the Island of Spirits and the Island of Memories) where the cloud energy (kuraudo enerugi) from the Cloud Dimension would pour down and spread to sustain the powers of the two countries with dominant population of Power Casters. Only the Power Casters can see the existence of the three islands.
The Jyureiger team was only formed recently due to the alarming rate of unrest and crimes caused by the Cloud Demons to the citizens. It escalated when the Island of Memories was deliberately destroyed two years prior by the same perpetrator for some unknown reasons. Director Matsuzaki Yorika, the head of a place known for training Power Casters of Japan called JP-Nephelus Agency, decided to proceed with "Operation: Cloudstrike" because of this. This was the same as how the SK-Nephelus Agency Director Ra Ji-tae started "Operation: Cloudbreak" in South Korea for the chosen Power Casters of that country to combat the Black Cloud Vessels.
The first kana in the first seven Jyureigers' given names spells out "beast spirit knights" [Ji-Yu-Re-I-Ki-Shi (jyurei kishi)] in Japanese. As for the kana in the surnames of the eleven Jyureigers, they spells out "cloud strikers" [Ku-Ra-U-Do Su-To-Ra-I-Ka-A-Su (kuraudo sutoraikāsu)].
Before engaging into battle, they announce their arrival by saying "The proof of the knights' brimming energy! Heading out, Kumo Sentai Jyureiger!". Their pre-battle catchphrase is "!".
Kumazu Jinrou/Red Striker – The leader of the Jyureigers.
As the Phoenix Knight, Red Striker, he had the ability to harness the energy coming from the fire element. Out of the six Cloudbreakers from South Korea, his counterparts would be the Red Fire Caster Nae Hyon-jun and the White Fire Caster Chon Re-na. In the series, it was discovered that he was actually related to Re-na and that he was the great-grandson of Chon Hae-il (Re-na's great-granduncle who was the younger brother of her great-grandfather Chon Suk-ho), making him the only known descendant of two Power Casters by far that was of Korean and Japanese origins. Along with this, it was also revealed that he was the fifth Celestial Beast Spirit Knight representing the Southern Heavens' Suzaku.
Raikatuji Yuuwa/Violet Striker –
As the Wolf Knight, Violet Striker, he was given the ability to harness the energy coming from wind elements. Out of the six Cloudbreakers from South Korea, his counterpart would be the Green Wind Caster Nang Ye-seul.
Utsunomiya Reiun/Yellow Striker –

Doiuchi Ichiho/Silver Striker – The vice-leader of the Jyureigers. She was Kishou's older step sister.
As the Fox Knight, Silver Striker, she was given the ability to harness the light energy coming from the combined powers of the sun, the moon, and the stars. She was the one of the two among the core seven Jyureigers who doesn't have a Cloudbreaker counterpart. The other one was her stepbrother Kishou. But it was learned that the SK-Nephelus Agency Director Ra Ji-tae once trained her when he came to Japan before, during the time that he was still recruiting Power Casters that would soon form the South Korea's Cloudbreakers team. It was about six months before Ra Ji-tae found Re-na and made her the first Cloudbreaker recruit.
Suzukawa Noboru/Orange Striker –
As the Panther Knight, Orange Striker, he had the ability to harness the energy of the weather, specifically the thunder element. Out of the six Cloudbreakers from South Korea, his counterpart would be the secondary leader of the Cloudbreakers, the Yellow Thunder Caster Won Jae-hwa.
Torada Kishou/BlueGreen Striker – He was Ichiho's younger step brother.
As the Snake Knight, BlueGreen Striker, his powers were all related to sounds, which gave him the ability to have extremely sharp hearing. He was the one of the two among the core seven Jyureigers who doesn't have a Cloudbreaker counterpart. The other one was his step sister Ichiho. But it was learned that the SK-Nephelus Agency Director Ra Ji-tae once trained him when the director came to Japan before, during the time that he was still recruiting Power Casters that would soon form the South Korea's Cloudbreakers team. It was about two months before Ra Ji-tae found Re-na and recruited her.
Rakuyama Shizumi/Blue Striker – In the series, it was revealed that she was friends with one of the six Cloudbreakers from South Korea who happened to be the last White Fire Caster Elena Grace Chon (commonly known to the others as Chon Re-na). She always refers to Re-na as her senpai when it comes to harnessing cloud energies, despite the two of them using completely different elemental powers (fire for Re-na and water for Shizumi).
As the Mermaid Knight, Blue Striker, she had the ability to harness the energy coming from the water element. Out of the six Cloudbreakers from South Korea, her counterpart would be the famous solo K-Pop idol, the Blue Water Caster Ryu Ji-hun.

As the Dragon Knight, Green Striker, he was the Celestial Beast Spirit Knight representation of the Eastern Heavens' Seiryuu.
Kanemasa Ikuei/Black Striker –
As the Tortoise Knight, Black Striker, he was a Celestial Beast Spirit Knight representing the Northern Heavens' Genbu.
Arioka Tomoha/White Striker –
As the Tiger Knight, White Striker, she was a Celestial Beast Spirit Knight representing Byakko of the Western Heavens.
Sugimiya Sumio/Gold Striker – The leader of the Celestial Beast Spirit Knights despite being the youngest of the group at his age of 16.
As the Kirin Knight, Gold Striker, he was the Celestial Beast Spirit Knight representation of Kirin of the Central Heavens.
JP-NEPHELUS AGENCY
Matsuzaki Yorika – The eighth head of the JP-Nephelus Agency and the first female to become its appointed director since the agency's inception. She was the granddaughter of the sixth head of the agency. Though trained all her life to become the heir of the Matsuzaki Corporation, she defied her father's orders and instead, asked her grandfather to train her and let her become the head of the Japanese branch of the Nephelus Agency, especially when she learned her ability as a Power Caster.
SOUTH KOREA'S CLOUDBREAKERS
Nae Hyon-jun/Red Fire Caster/Red Breaker – The leader of the Cloudbreakers and even of the Red Fire Casters' faction in South Korea. He knew from the start that his mission was to defeat the legendary factions of the White Power Casters. But that changed when he was recruited to become a part of the Cloudbreakers and finally met Chon Re-na. It was Director Ra Ji-tae who made him realize his true mission to both the long feuding factions of the Red Fire Casters and the White Fire Casters. After the battle with the Black Cloud Vessels in South Korea, Hyon-jun returned to his faction and ruled it in such a way that the Red Fire Casters and the remaining White Power Casters would never decide to seek war against each other ever again. In Jyureiger, Ra Ji-tae called for him and the other four Cloudbreakers remaining in South Korea (Ji-hun, Ye-seul, Jae-hwa, and Ae-ri) once again with regards to the destruction of the Island of Memories. It was then that he realized that Re-na was traveling when it all happened and the destruction of the island could still be related to her great-granduncle Chon Hae-il. In the series where he was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers to lead his team once again, he was given the ability to transform and become the Red Breaker.
Won Jae-hwa/Yellow Thunder Caster/Yellow Breaker – The vice-leader of the Cloudbreakers and Nang Ye-seul's childhood friend. In the series where he was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers, he was given the ability to transform and become the Yellow Breaker.
Ryu Ji-hun/Blue Water Caster/Blue Breaker – He was a famous solo K-Pop idol that even his fame reached Japan. But the real reason why he went to Japan all of a sudden was because of Director Matsuzaki's request to train the Jyureigers with SK-Nephelus Agency Director Ra Ji-tae's permission and also to visit his Cloudbreaker comrade and partner Chon Re-na whom he learned was in Japan at the time due to a certain personal mission. He was the son of the next-in-line to the position of being the leader of the Blue Water Casters' faction in South Korea. This was one reason why he could still do some things outside of his Power Caster duties without that much restrictions imposed on the chosen leader of the faction. In the series where he was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers, he was given the ability to transform and become the Blue Breaker.
Nang Ye-seul/Green Wind Caster/Green Breaker – The youngest of the six recruited Cloudbreakers and Won Jae-hwa's childhood friend. Near the end of the series where she was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers, she was given the ability to transform and become the Green Breaker.
Hung Ae-ri/Gold Dust Caster/Gold Breaker – A famous skater and actress, which is why she mostly interact with Ryu Ji-hun outside of their Power Caster and even their Cloudbreaker duties. In the series where she was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers, she was given the ability to transform and become the Gold Breaker.
Elena Grace Chon/Chon Re-na/White Fire Caster/White Breaker – A half Korean, part-Japanese part-Filipino blogger who spent most of her life traveling and searching for answers with regards to her ancestry and origin of her powers. She learned all about it when she reached South Korea because of a friend's request for her to visit someone. This, in turn, had enabled her to realize everything about her past and her unlikely powers related to South Korea's legendary faction of White Power Casters. In Jyureiger, more than two years had passed since the end of the Cloudbreakers' mission and battle against the Black Cloud Vessels in South Korea. At the time, Re-na continued her travel alone—this time, with a different agenda. It was to find out everything that has a relation to the past of her great-granduncle Chon Hae-il in Japan and also to know if there were anymore White Power Casters left in that country. During one of her travels, she met and befriended the chosen Blue Striker Rakuyama Shizumi. They even trained together on some occasions with regards to the use and harnessing of cloud energies. In the series where she was reunited with the other Cloudbreakers, she was given the ability to transform and become the White Breaker.
SK-NEPHELUS AGENCY
Ra Ji-tae – The current head of the SK-Nephelus Agency and founder of the agency's Cloudbreakers team. Only the recruited Cloudbreakers knew the fact that he was a White Power Caster just like Re-na. He was known to those six as the White Sound Caster and one of the most dangerous sound manipulator in more than 10,000-year-old history of the Power Casters, both from South Korea and Japan. It was revealed that he once trained both Ichiho and Kishou on separate occasions while he was still in the midst of finding recruits for him to form the Cloudbreakers.
