Fuji twitched inwardly as he heard the way this guy mentioned Miyako's name. It was obssessively possessive (if ever such phrase existed) which he really didn't like hearing from any guy at all.

"Well, not as grand as you did more than a year ago…" Then his eyes opened, with piercing azure eyes hardening as each seconds passed by. "…and also not as sloppy as you did more than a month ago, no matter the reasons for doing so."

The next day after the attack, Koenma decided to have Yusuke, Kuwabara and Keiko transfer school since the toddler prince figured that the demon shinobi and the wielders would most likely make an appearance at Hanasakura Academy again. Koenma somehow thought that the enemies—although he wasn't sure who to treat as enemies between the wielders and the demon shinobi—were after something—or someone—from that school. Those three would be in a different class from Kurama and Riya but their classrooms were just adjacent to each other. Kurama's classroom was in Class 2-C and Yusuke, Kuwabara and Keiko's would be in Class 2-D.

Plano naman ni Alex na sumunod sa yapak ng ama na maging isang private investigator.

Kaya misteryo sa kanya kung bakit imbes na Criminology ang kunin nitong kurso, naisipan nitong kumuha ng Architecture. Siya naman ay Civil Engineering ang kinuhang kurso. He wanted to become an engineer, just like his mother's sister Engr. Cecille Cervantes Mercado. He still has a few more years for him to achieve that, though. Kaya naman pinagbubutihan niya ang pag-aaral.

THE TRIP to Baguio took almost seven hours since hindi naman sila gaanong namoroblema sa traffic. Habang bumibiyahe ay hindi gaanong nagsasalita si Khea at laging nakatingin sa labas. Para ngang wala sa daan ang isipan niya kundi sa isang bahagi ng kanyang nakaraan na laging nagiging bahagi ng mga panaginip niya mula pa noong bata siya.

The blinding light lasted for a few more minutes before it faded. But to Kurama's surprise, Yusuke and the others had vanished without a trace. He tried calling them out but to no avail. They really vanished just at the same time as the light vanished.

Avoiding Fuji seemed to have been erased from Miyako's list-of-things-to-do this year after their conversation that time. It was weird but somehow, she couldn't find it in her to completely avoid him after what he did to save her life and take good care of her. Even though she insisted that she didn't need to be watched over or at least required to be taken care of, Fuji took no heed of it at all. It made her extremely frustrated but in the end, she gave up being so insistent on what she liked or wanted him to do for her.

He kept on doing things that would make her blush, make her heart flutter and an unexplainable warmth would always overwhelm her. Their schedules weren't actually the same at all but somehow, he kept on finding a way to walk her home or at least just a short time to talk to her. Long before she even realized it, she looked forward to those wonderful, heart-warming moments—no matter how short they usually were—with Fuji. It was like her day wouldn't be complete without that creepy tensai (though she just referred him like that as a joke) to give a beautiful meaning to it.

Inside the building…

Rubbles and debris caused by the sudden explosion began to fall one by one. Fire had slowly but steadily continued to spread as thick smoke covered the area's visibility. But it was when another explosion took place from the laboratory that Riya managed to regain consciousness shortly after she ran and avoided the explosion.

She remembered the moment when the explosion happened. She immediately figured out that the floating dark orb a while back came from a demon shinobi and out of instinct, she grabbed Ayako's hand. But before they could fled away further, the orb exploded in an intense magnitude. And she was thrown away by that intensity along with Ayako, with both of them hitting the ground hard and losing consciousness shortly after.

KITANG-KITA ni Allen mula sa veranda ng ancestral house ng mga Cervantes sa bayan ng Altiera ang malawak na hardin niyon. Kararating lang niya galing Manila dahil na sa pakiusap ng kakambal niyang si Alex na siya ang maging best man sa nalalapit nitong kasal. Tatanggihan sana niya ito pero hindi niya magawa iyon. Minsan lang makiusap sa kanya si Alex ng mga bagay-bagay. Wala siyang tinanggihan sa mga pakiusap nito maski ni isa. Hindi niya gustong biguin ito lalo na sa pinakamasayang araw sa buhay nito. Lamang, may dahilan kung bakit alangan siya noong una na pagbigyan ang pakiusap nito. Dahilang alam niyang alam din ni Alex.

Nakatuon ang atensiyon niya sa mga bulaklak na nakatanim doon. Doon siya dinala ng kanyang mga paa nang maisipan niyang magpahangin sa labas. Kunsabagay, iyon ang paborito niyang lugar sa ancentral house bukod sa silid niya. Gusto niyang naglalagi sa veranda kapag gusto niyang mapag-isa at mag-isip. He was fond of looking at flowers ever since he was a kid. But looking at them right now allowed his mind to travel through time—back to those special times when flowers became the witness of the most wonderful part of his life.

Ito ang una niyang kliyente nang makapasa siya sa board exam ng Civil Engineering at mag-umpisa siyang magtrabaho sa Cervantes Construction and Development Company, ang kompanyang pinamamahalaan ng maternal aunt niyang si Cecille Mercado. Siya ang kinontrata ni Joseph sa pagpapatayo ng isang restaurant sa Los Angeles na pag-aari nito. Sinundan iyon ng ilan pang kontrata mula rito dahil nagustuhan nito diumano ang trabaho niya. Ang latest project nito sa kanya ay ang building na magsisilbing branch ng Special Hearts Publishing o SHP—ang publishing company na pag-aari ng pamilya nito sa Glendale—sa Pilipinas. Regalo daw nito iyon para sa "special someone" nito na babalik na sa Pilipinas.

MABAGAL ang mga hakbang ni Khea habang binabagtas niya ang daan patungo sa mansion ng mga Castillianes kung saan siya nakatira. Medyo may kalayuan iyon mula sa cove subalit hindi niya alintana iyon. Kung tutuusin ay okay pa nga sa kanya iyon upang magkaroon siya ng pagkakataong pag-isipan ang mga ibinalita sa kanya ni Phrinze kanina.

Hindi niya inakalang magiging huli na pala ang lahat para sa kanya. Ang laki ng panahong sinayang niya dahil sa pagtatago ng feelings niya sa lalaking ang akala ng lahat ay hanggang nakatatandang kapatid lang ang turing niya. Iyon kasi ang madalas niyang sabihin sa tuwing may magtatanong kung ano daw ba ang tingin niya kay Phrinze.

Well, kasalanan din lang naman niya. Kung bakit kasi itinago pa niya dito ang nararamdaman niya gayong abot-kamay lang niya ito. Kung siya ang tatanungin, walang dudang minahal niya ito na simula niyang naramdaman ten years ago, noong trese anyos pa lang siya. Pagmamahal na patuloy niyang sinikil sa puso niya as the years passed for the sake of protecting their friendship na hindi niya gustong masira.

At hindi pa rin niya ito sisirain kahit na magkasintahan na sina Phrinze at Norina. Like what she have said to him earlier, mas mabuti pang siya na lang ang umiyak at masaktan.

It feels... really weird na muling makita ang mga kuwentong isinulat ko na noon pa. Lahat, cringy para sa akin. Pero... ako pa rin naman ang nagsulat ng mga ito, eh. And I guess the reason why I kept reading them again and again even with all the cringe was because of one thing — I still loved them because it was me who wrote them.

Hehe! Corny ba? Sorry, ha? Pero nagsasabi lang po ako ng totoo. Kaya inuunahan ko na po kayo. Marami-rami pa kayong cringy-ness na makikita sa blog na ito. Especially with the way I wrote the love stories, in particular. O baka naman ako lang ang nag-iisip ng ganoong bagay.

Wala na talaga akong matinong ilalagay na saloobin dito, 'no? Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit bigla kong naisipang ibandera rin dito one of these days ang isang bagay na... medyo mas cringy pa kaysa sa mga pinagsususulat ko.

Diary entries.

Hoy, baka naman isipin n'yo, hindi ako nagsusulat sa diary. Well, hindi talaga. For some reason, inihininto kong gawin iyon matagal na. Hindi ko alam kung magagawa ko ba ulit iyon ngayon. Pero ang tagal na rin mula nang huling beses akong magsulat sa diary, eh. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko uumpisahan ulit.

Bahala na nga lang. Tingnan ko na lang muna kung ano ang magagawa ko. Pero kung may makita na kayong another form of ka-weird-uhan dito sa blog ko, alam n'yo na kung saan nagmula. Anyway, those entries were from way back 2006-2009. Kaya... okay na rin sigurong ipakita iyon. Wala namang mawawala sa akin, eh. At least, iyon ang nararamdaman ko.

The Detective Boys, minus Haibara and Kourin (again), decided to stay at Ayumi's house. Conan went to the police station earlier. But then, Detective Takagi and Detective Satou said that they didn't have any clue at all about how to solve the code. But they were really trying their best to solve it in order to close the case as early as they can.

In addition to this, Conan was having a weird feeling about Kourin. Usually, when it comes to cracking codes, Kourin was the one who was enthusiastic in solving it. That was why they've always solved some of the murder cases with codes the earliest possible time. But when he showed her the codes that Ares wrote, he didn't mind but then he saw her sighed wistfully. It was like she already had an idea on how to solve it… or she knew the answer to the code itself and the answer made her remember something.

BUONG ARAW na hindi nasilayan ni Sharian ang presensiya ni Nelmark na dapat sana ay ikinatuwa niya. At least, walang nang-away at nang-asar sa kanya.

Kaya lang, heto at iba ang nararamdaman niya. Nanghihinayang siya dahil hindi niya magagawa ang plano niyang mapalapit kay Nelmark upang maisagawa ang binabalak niya.

It was still the regular mornings for most of the students of Hanasakura Academy but Kurama felt otherwise. Not only it wasn't regular but also because it was quite peaceful since neither the demon shinobi nor the Legendary Weapon Wielders made an appearance so he was able to rest that night.

At halata sa mga mukha ng mga estudyanteng nagsipagtapos, lalo na sa kani-kanilang mga magulang, ang saya dahil sa tagumpay na kanilang nakamit ngayong nakapagtapos na sila. Maraming iyakan rin ang naganap dahil marami na ang magkakahiwa-hiwalay pagkatapos niyon dahil sa bagong buhay na kailangan na nilang kaharapin. Kaya naman maraming picture taking ang naganap pagkatapos ng graduation rites na iyon.

Kasama sa mga ito sina Khea at Norina, parehong graduates ng kursong Fine Arts, na kasalukuyang nagpapa-picture kasama ang kanilang mga naging professors nila. And then they took pictures with their friends in the university during their school days. Malalayo na sa kanila ang mga ito kaya naman sinasamantala na nila ang pagkakataong magpakuha ng pictures kasama ang mga kaibigan nila.

And finally, their parents took pictures of them. May mga kuha sila na solo nila at karamihan ay magkasama silang dalawa ni Norina.

Fuji didn't know how long he sat there and watched Miyako drifted off to sleep. Her slow, even breathing was the proof of that. He didn't actually track down the time since he really has no plans of leaving her side while she was sleeping peacefully at that moment.

He smiled at the sight of Miyako now peacefully sleeping like that. He didn't know what came over him. But as he watched he close her eyes, he had the urge to hum a certain melody. Eventually, he sang it long before he could think of what he was doing.

After that conversation between Riya and Shuichi on the bridge a month ago, the two seemed to enjoy each other's company more often than not. A lot of people thought it was just for the project. But then they began to notice that the two usually have lunch together in the canteen, go home together and enjoy talking about a lot of things. They were really starting to become closer like what Shuichi really wanted for him and Riya ever since.

Unfortunately, not all people really appreciated that change going on between them. Among them were Ayako and her friends. And because of that, she somehow devised a plan to crush Riya's heart by destroying one important thing that the latter had kept for so long. In a way, she found out one of Riya's secret that was too precious to her. Her plan was to destroy it in front of her in order to get even somehow.
